Photo resize to 100 KB
Short answer: a photo under 100 KB is a JPG of at most 100 KB. That leaves room for a larger, sharp picture: at 413 × 531 px (3.5 × 4.5 cm at 300 DPI) a face photo fits under 100 KB at high quality.
CTET asks for a 3.5 × 4.5 cm photo of 10–100 KB; UPSC accepts 20–200 KB. Choose your size and the tool keeps the file at most 100 KB.

Questions
Is a 100 KB photo good for exam forms?
Yes, if the form allows 100 KB. It is plenty for a passport-size photo. Never upload a file bigger than the form's maximum: the portal rejects it.
My photo is 3 MB. Can it go under 100 KB?
Yes. Upload it as it is (up to 10 MB). It is resized to the pixels you choose and saved as a JPG under 100 KB.
Should I choose 300 or 200 DPI?
Both measure 3.5 × 4.5 cm. 300 DPI (413 × 531 px) is sharper; 200 DPI (276 × 354 px) gives a smaller file. If your notice gives pixels, use those under Custom size.
Which forms accept a photo up to 100 KB?
CTET accepts 10–100 KB. UPSC accepts 20–200 KB, so a file under 100 KB fits there too. See the table on this page and check your own notice.
Do you keep my photo or signature?
No. The picture is processed in memory to make the file and deleted right away. We never save it.
