Signature resize 10 to 20 KB

Short answer: a 10–20 KB signature is a JPG file of at least 10 KB and at most 20 KB. The pixels depend on the form: IBPS and SBI prefer 140 × 60 px, SSC asks for about 6 × 2 cm, which is 709 × 236 px at 300 DPI.

Choose the size below, upload a photo of your signature and download a JPG that stays inside 10–20 KB however the portal counts a KB.

Questions

How do I reduce my signature to 20 KB?

Sign on white paper with a black pen, take a sharp photo with your phone from straight above and upload it here. The tool cuts the empty paper around the signature, makes the background white, resizes it to the pixels you chose and picks the highest JPG quality that stays under 20 KB.

What does “signature size 20 KB” mean?

It is the file size limit: the JPG must not be bigger than 20 KB. It is not the size on paper. Most forms also give a minimum, often 10 KB, and the size in pixels or centimetres.

My signature comes out below 10 KB. How do I make it bigger?

A small signature such as 140 × 60 px can stay below 10 KB even at the best quality. Then the tool adds empty comment bytes inside the JPG until it reaches the minimum. The picture itself does not change, and the file stays a normal JPG.

What is the signature size for SSC, IBPS and SBI?

SSC: JPG of 10–20 KB, about 6.0 × 2.0 cm (709 × 236 px). IBPS and SBI: JPG of 10–20 KB, 140 × 60 px preferred. Railway (RRB) asks for 30–49 KB. The table on this page shows the numbers from each notice.

Is 1 KB 1000 or 1024 bytes?

Notices rarely say. Files from this page are between 10,240 bytes (10 × 1024) and 20,000 bytes (20 × 1000), so they fit either way of counting.

Do you keep my photo or signature?

No. The picture is processed in memory to make the file and deleted right away. We never save it.
